Amedeo Modigliani

Right now I'm researching the art of Amedeo Modigliani because he was mentioned in the book I just got called 52 Creative Exercises To Make Drawing Fun by Carla Sonheim. You can see his slideshow at: http://www.modigliani-foundation.org/slideshow.html One of the exercises in Sonheim's book is to do portraits mimicking the style of Amedeo Modigliani.  I tried that yesterday with a portrait of my daughter. Today I'm going to try it again.Yesterday I think I reverted back to my usual style of painting. I wish I had a live model to paint from.
